Thomas M. Ray is a Managing Director focused on U.S. real estate opportunities. He is based in Denver, Colorado.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Ray completed the Management Development Program and served as a Vice President in various business lines with the Security Capital Group. He has been involved in over $5 billion of acquisitions, sales, development, leasing and management of real estate throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Prior to that, Mr. Ray practiced law for six years, focusing on real estate and commercial transactions and related tax matters.
Mr. Ray received his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin Graduate School of Business, where he was a Longhorn Scholar. He received a J.D. with special designation in taxation from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received his B.S. from the University of Denver, where he was a Hornbeck Scholar. |
