Thomas L. Ulry leads Commerce Energy’s Sales and Marketing teams. He has more than 20 years of energy-industry experience in both fast-paced, start-up companies and mature business environments. His professional career includes extensive experience in executive operations positions.
Mr. Ulry joined Commerce Energy when ACN Energy, a division of ACN Inc., was acquired by Commerce Energy in February 2005. While with ACN Inc., a network sales organization with a broad range of services across the deregulated industries, he served as global vice president and chief operations officer.
Previously, Mr. Ulry served as senior vice president for Nicor Energy L.L.C. He was responsible for managing the profit and loss center for the company’s consumer business unit. The unit generated more than $165 million in revenue and expanded sales channels, resulting in a 90% increase in new customers.
Prior to that, Mr. Ulry served as president and chief operating officer for Energy.com Corporation, successfully launching the company with an e-commerce store specializing in energy-related products.
Mr. Ulry has also worked at Access Energy Corporation and with Unicorp Energy Inc., as Manager of Information Systems. In addition, Mr. Ulry served as Director of Operations for Aquila Inc. / Broad Street Oil & Gas where he designed, built and implemented office systems. |
