Mr. Fucillo manages the Environmental Law practice group, advising clients on a full range of environmental regulatory issues and litigating environmental disputes before state and federal courts. Mr. Fucillo also provides extensive counsel and litigation support concerning the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). He is Special SEQRA Counsel to several municipal corporations and represents developers and other private clients and litigants on SEQRA issues.Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fucillo was a trial attorney in the United States Navy JAG Corps, and subsequently, a Regional Attorney with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). As Regional Attorney, he was responsible for environmental enforcement and other legal affairs in DEC’s Region 7.Mr. Fucillo co-authored an article in the Matthew Bender publication, Environmental Law in New York, entitled, Petroleum Discharges and the New York State Navigation Law, and has lectured at New York State Bar Association CLE presentations. |
