Tom serves as the Director of the Firm's Financial Institutions group serving mutual and stock institutions, bank holding companies, mortgage banking companies and credit unions throughout New England. In addition to providing auditing and financial reporting services to banks and bank-related clients, Tom provides a variety of advisory services related to matters including mergers and acquisitions, stock conversions, regulatory reporting requirements and special investigations. He has also consulted in the development and implementation of accounting, operating and internal auditing systems for many financial institutions. Tom has addressed bankers on topics such as market value accounting, quarterly reporting, and other generally accepted accounting principles and reporting standards, for various trade organizations including the Massachusetts Bankers Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers' Association and the Massachusetts Credit Union League.
