Tom Unterberg has had a distinguished career in investment banking, beginning in 1956. He has led over 200 initial public offerings and has served on more than 50 corporate boards. He is known worldwide as a pioneer in technology investment banking and an expert in emerging growth companies.
Having led one of the "Four Horsemen" of Silicon Valley, Mr. Unterberg was influential in nearly every significant technology financing in the late 1970's and early 1980's. His work financing and advising emerging companies has been reported as having helped shape the technology landscape of the past two decades. Mr. Unterberg's advice is sought by companies and investors alike, in the U.S., Israel and elsewhere.
He formed the current C.E. Unterberg, Towbin in 1990, resurrecting a firm started in 1932 by his father, Clarence E. Unterberg. After a merger, that firm became L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin. |
