Thomas H. Holcom is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Financial Services, a subsidiary of MidCountry Financial Corp., and President of the Military Banking Division of MidCountry Bank. Mr. Holcom began his financial services career in 1966 at First National Bank of Kansas City, where he worked until 1985, serving as executive vice president. Over the last two decades as President of Pioneer Financial Services, Mr. Holcom spearheaded tremendous growth and built a company culture that has twice received national acclaim. He championed many initiatives aimed at helping military families around the world through financial education, military benefits, family support, and services that solve very unique problems. Mr. Holcom is a founding member of Angel Flight America, Trustee to Park University and currently serves on the boards of Business Executives for National Security and Truman Medical Centers Charitable Foundation and serves as president of the Command General Staff College. In 2006 he received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Corporate Responsibility in the Midwest region. |
