Thomas G. Smith is executive vice president, chief financial officer and secretary of Forest City Enterprises, Inc.
Smith moved to Cleveland in 1985, when he assumed his current position with Forest City. Prior to his experience at Forest City, Smith was an executive with Carlson Companies, Inc., and also spent 11 years working at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Minneapolis.
Smith is Chairman of the Board of trustees of Ursuline College and a member of the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland, and he serves as chairman of the Accounting Advisory Board at Case Western Reserve University. He is also a community director on the Cleveland Community Board of FirstMerit Bank, N.A., and is on the board of directors of St. Lawrence Industries.
