As Vice President, U.S. Sales for Biosite, Thomas G. Blassey, who has 20 years of industry experience, leads U.S. Sales Organization, National Accounts and Sales and Clinical Training. Most recently, Blassey was Biosite's Regional Sales Director in the Mid Atlantic Region where he managed a regional sales growth of 250%. He was integral in closing and managing some of the largest national point-of-care accounts.
Prior to joining Biosite in 2001, Blassey was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and New Business Development at eCompanyStore, an early start up in the B-to-B Internet sector. He increased client acquisitionand company revenues by more than 400%. Previously, he served as Director of Marketing and Director of Sales at medical device manufacturers Tri Path Imaging and Dynex Technologies, respectively. Blassey also held various manager, sales and marketing positions at Abbott Laboratories.
