Rose joined RTI as chief financial officer in May 2002. Rose served the previous 10 years as vice president and chief financial officer at A. M. Todd Group based in Kalamazoo Mich. From 1988-1991 he was vice president and corporate controller for Sotheby's Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BID) in New York. Earlier Rose was an audit partner with Ernst & Whinney (currently Ernst & Young) in New York providing audit tax and consulting services for clients in a variety of industries for 15 years.
Rose earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. He has also completed numerous executive education courses at University of Michigan and Northwestern University focusing on strategy and organizational issues.
