Thomas E. Timbie is the President of Timbie & Company LLC a financial and management consulting firm he founded in 2000. From January 2005 to June 2005 he was also the interim Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for ev3 Inc. an endovascular company. Formerly he was the Interim Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of e-dr. Network Inc. a business-to-business exchange in the optical market from January 2000 to October 2000. From April 1996 to December 1999 Mr. Timbie was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Xomed Surgical Products Inc. which was acquired by Medtronic Inc. in November 1999. Mr. Timbie has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience in a variety of industries with particular emphasis on medical devices. Mr. Timbie is currently a director of two other public companies: Wright Medical Group Inc. and ev3 Inc and of one -privately held- company Acclarent Inc.
