Tom is currently involved in venture capital investment management consulting and board assignments. In addition to Occam Networks Tom also serves on the Board of Directors of Western Digital Corporation Exabyte Corporation and MegaPath Networks. Tom served as Chairman of the Board of Western Digital Corporation from January 2000 until December 2001. Tom also held the position of Chairman and CEO of edge2net a privately-held provider of international voice data and video services from December 2000 to October 2001. Prior to edge2net Tom was President of MediaOne International Asia/Pacific (formerly U. S. West Asia-Pacific). He has also held positions at US West Multimedia Communications Group US West Communications Sprint United Telecommunications and a variety of management positions during a 19-year tenure with IBM. Tom is a graduate of the University of Iowa in Business Administration. |
