Mr. McMillen served three consecutive terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from the state of Maryland, including membership on the Energy and Commerce Committee. He also served as a co-chair of President Clinton’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Prior to his political career, Mr. McMillen played in the NBA for 11 years (1975-1986.) Before his professional basketball career, Mr. McMillen, a Rhodes Scholar, was a National Collegiate Athletic Association All American at the University of Maryland and a member of the 1972 U. S. Olympic basketball team. Mr. McMillen is currently Chairman of the Washington Capital Advisors, LLC and the Chairman of Global Defense Corporation. |
