Tom Sa, a resident of Campbell, California, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank. Mr. Sa is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in California. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Sa was Chief Financial Officer of Mediagate, Inc., a development stage, San Jose-based provider of integrated software and hardware solutions for universal communications. At Mediagate, Mr. Sa was responsible for all aspects of financial management of the company and its affiliates in a multi-national environment. In addition, Mr. Sa assisted the company in raising over $17 million in debt and equity funding.
From 1998 to 1999, Mr. Sa served as Corporate Controller with Leasing Solutions, Inc in San Jose. In addition to overseeing accounting and reporting at Leasing Solutions, Mr. Sa completed a conversion of the Company's lease accounting system, led an effort to evaluate and re-engineer internal processes, and assisted in a restructure of the company's treasury operations.
From 1995 to 1997 Mr. Sa served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Central Coast Bancorp, based in Salinas. While at Central Coast Bancorp, Mr. Sa was responsible for the development of a multi-bank holding company structure and oversaw growth in total assets from $300 million to $500 million. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Sa Served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at South Valley Bancorporation, based in Gilroy.
Mr. Sa began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte & Touche (successor to Deloitte, Haskins and Sells), specializing in financial institutions and technology firms in Silicon Valley. |
