Experience:
Tom Lidbury’s law practice is focused primarily on litigation and electronic discovery. He has extensive trial and appellate litigation experience and has represented clients in dozens of jury and bench trials and arbitrations (e.g., a recent favorable jury verdict valued at $160 million). In addition, Tom has conducted numerous successful appellate oral arguments before state and federal courts alike and is recognized as an authority in the critical area of electronic evidence discovery.
Tom addresses a broad spectrum of client needs, including complex commercial litigation, mass tort defense, consumer class action defense, health care regulatory litigation, securities litigation, employment litigation, whistle-blower investigations and litigation and electronic discovery. He holds the top Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV®.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 1997, Tom was associated with two other prominent law firms in Chicago. He is frequently sought as a presenter and panelist at professional seminars dealing with electronic discovery methods and procedures.
