Dr. Panagiotou joined MFIC Corporation in 2003 as Director of Research and Development. She was promoted to Vice President of Research and Development in 2005. Prior to joining the MFIC Dr. Panagiotou held leadership positions at Arthur D. Little where she managed a multi-million dollar insulin delivery device project and invented the method and hardware to produce polymer microspheres for drug delivery that led to the award of two patents. She also worked at Tiax LLC a consulting company where she was involved in the development of a pulmonary delivery device and Physical Sciences Inc a company providing contract research and development services in aerospace energy environmental manufacturing and medical applications. Dr. Panagiotou received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and has numerous publications in major technology and trade journals. Dr. Panagiotou is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences. |
