Dr. Thilo Winkeler is a partner of Curtis London and is based in the Firm’s Frankfurt Office. Dr. Winkeler’s practice is focused on mergers & acquisitions, general corporate, restructuring and minority shareholdings. Dr. Winkeler has gained substantial expertise in all forms of cross-border M&A transactions. He has advised various national and international clients in connection with their acquisitions and dispositions in Germany. Dr. Winkeler is fluent in German and English, and has worked extensively in these languages. He is a German qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) , admitted to the Frankfurt Bar Association. Prior to joining Curtis, he was a partner with Broich, Bayer, von Rom and prior to that a senior associate with Hölters & Elsing in Frankfurt. In 2005 he was an international associate with Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, New York. He had started his career in 1999 when he joined JP Morgan as a legal counsel.
