Theresa Anderson was named senior vice president and general merchandising manager for home and outdoor living in 2003 and is responsible for cabinets home organization nursery and seasonal living product categories. She was previously senior vice president of merchandising sales and service. Anderson joined Lowe's in 1986 and has served in a number of increasingly responsible positions including senior vice president of store operations and staffing merchandising vice president of outdoor hardlines and various positions in corporate training management development and advertising. Prior to Lowe's Anderson worked in marketing and operations with First Union National Bank. Anderson has a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina-Asheville.
