Theodore O. Struk is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the area of Defense Civil Litigation involving Personal Injury and Property Damage, with a particular emphasis in the fields of Admiralty, Professional Malpractice (including Medical, Attorney, and Accountant), Products Liability, Motor Vehicle Controversies, General Liability, Insurance Bad Faith Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation against railroads, and the defense of other types of general liability cases. Mr. Struk is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania State Courts of Lesser Jurisdiction, including the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and Commonwealth Court. Mr. Struk is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Federation of Insurance & Corporate Counsel (FICC), Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Defense Research Institute, American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Allegheny County Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Struk served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Joseph P. Willson, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Struk graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1954 with a B.A., where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his LL.B. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1957. Mr. Struk is a former Chairman and also Secretary of the Board of Directors of Family House, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization providing low cost housing for people visiting various health centers in Pittsburgh for medical treatment of life-threatening illnesses. |
