Thane A. Pressman was the CEO of Carvel Corporation, a retailer and distributor of ice cream products from 2002 to 2003. Mr. Pressman also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tone Brothers, Inc., the second largest U.S. spice company, from 1998 to 2001. He also was President and CEO of Labatt-USA LLC from 1995 to 1998, and President of the Labatt Ontario Breweries in Toronto, Canada, from 1993 to 1995.
Earlier, Pressman held positions of increasing responsibility at the Sara Lee Corporation, including Executive Vice President of North America in 1990, President of Canada & Retail Stores from1988 to 1990, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Kitchens of Sara Lee in Canada from 1986 to 1988, and Vice President of Growth & Development from 1984 to1986. Pressman’s background also includes positions with Alberto-Culver Company from 1981 to1984, and the Procter & Gamble Company from1968 to1979.
Mr. Pressman is a Trustee of Springfield College, and has served as Trustee of American Field Service (AFS) International, and a former Director of AFS-USA.
Mr. Pressman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in 1967, and received a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1969. |
