Terry White is considered to be a highly effective leader who builds strong relationships with medical staffs, community members, management teams, and employees. In fact, the Gallup Organization ranks his leadership talent in the top 10 percent of the more than one million leaders they have assessed. He is the former executive vice president and co-founder of Centura Health, the largest healthcare system in Colorado, and former CEO of PorterCare Health System of Denver. Terry has provided CEO leadership for hospital health systems on an interim and permanent basis, which includes managing several challenging turnaround assignments, for more than 15 years. He has developed strategies for hospitals to improve their financial performance while enhancing customer service levels and employee effectiveness. Today he is the managing director and founder of Team White, a healthcare consulting firm that provides turnaround services, strategic planning, team building, quality improvement, and customer service excellence. He is also a managing director with TIVIS Healthcare where he has been influential in establishing SmartCare facilities nationwide. In this role, he has also been active in the introduction of new healthcare technologies into China.
Terry received his B.S. in medical technology from Pacific Union College in California and M.P.H in healthcare administration at Loma Linda University. This clinical background serves as an important knowledge base for the effective healthcare organizational leadership he provides. Terry is married and has two adult children. His hobbies include golf, skiing, bicycling, working with computers, and reading.
