Terry McGuire is a co-founder and Managing General Partner of Polaris Venture Partners. Mr. McGuire has 17 years of successful investing experience. He is a co-founder of MicroCHIPS, a founder of Inspire Pharmaceuticals and Advanced Inhalation Research, and Vice Chairman of deCODE Genetics. He serves on the boards of the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College; the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research; and the Advisory Board of the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship, Harvard Business School. Mr. McGuire holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in engineering from The Thayer School at Dartmouth College, and a BS in physics and economics from Hobart College. |
