Terry Kolb is the area manager for Avista’s Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Wash. service territory. Terry has been with the company for 34 years.
As area manager for Lewiston-Clarkston, Terry is responsible for Avista’s community relations and economic development efforts in the region. Terry finds the community involvement aspect of his job to be the most fulfilling and enjoyable. It’s very rewarding to represent Avista externally, says Terry. Avista has an excellent reputation and long tradition of being a community-oriented company."
Terry says that he’s tried to model himself after people who exemplify honesty, trust and integrity, and who do the right things for the right reasons not because of how it might make them look. There are lots of names that comes to mind from within Avista, and those are the people I’ve admired and respected throughout my career.
Outside of Avista, Terry and his wife Nancy enjoy their grandchild and golfing. Terry is also in his second term as a Port of Lewiston commissioner. |
