Terry brings over two decades of experience in media, marketing and communications to The Sextant Group, coming from a director of marketing position for a multimedia production firm where he developed and managed diverse projects for clients ranging from PPG Industries and US Steel to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and The Pittsburgh Zoo. Terry's background includes 17+ years in broadcast television & radio management. Stints with Hearst Broadcasting's Pittsburgh radio properties WTAE-AM and 96.1-FM, and Sinclair Broadcasting's Fox affiliate WPGH-Fox 53 saw Terry directing promotion, marketing and programming. In his tenure as regional program director, he worked with ABC, Fox and WB affiliated stations in St. Louis, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Raleigh, Buffalo and others. Prior to joining The Sextant Group, Terry produced corporate video and taught audio production in the Communications Department at Robert Morris University. Caywood's education includes an MBA from Duquesne University and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Math & Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. While attending Duquesne, his voice was familiar to radio listeners as the mid-day announcer at powerhouse rocker WDVE-FM. He is credentialed as a Certified Professional Services Marketer by The Society of Marketing Professional Services, and is the local SMPS chapter's President-elect for 2006-2007. |
