Terry L. Stevens has been a member of our board since July 2003. He is also the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Highwoods Properties, Inc. located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Stevens joined Highwoods Properties, Inc. in December of 2003. Highwoods is a fully integrated, self-administered REIT that owns office, industrial and retail properties, encompassing approximately 43 million square feet, located primarily in the southeast region of the US. Highwoods Properties, Inc. is included in the S&P MidCap 400 Index and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (HIW). Prior to joining Highwoods Properties, Inc., Mr. Stevens was the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and a Trustee of Crown American Realty Trust from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Stevens joined Crown America in 1994 as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer until 1998 when he became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He became a Trustee in 1999. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Stevens was Director of Internal Audit and Director of Financial Systems Development at AlliedSignal, Inc., a large multi-national manufacturer. He also spent 18 years with Price Waterhouse, an international accounting firm, including seven years as an audit partner. Mr. Stevens received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Juniata College and his Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School. He is a CPA. |
