Teresa Chan is an associate with the law firm of Ellison, Schneider & Harris. Her practice focuses on California water rights law and all related areas of natural resources law, including water quality, endangered species, and environmental law. Prior to joining the firm, Teresa practiced administrative law, working primarily with public utilities and municipalities, as well as practicing general civil litigation. Teresa earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt, she served as an associate editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment Law & Practice, was a Lexis-Nexis student representative, and clerked for the Federal Public Defender's Office and the Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Teresa received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2002. |
