Mr. Lagala has been in the Information Technology business for over 20 years and has over 14 years experience in the Health Care field. Prior to joining SONIX in January 2001, he was Director of Technical Services at a major New York Hospital where he directed the implementation of a 14 million dollar project for major modernization of the Information Systems department. His background also includes working for the fourth largest propane company in the country, operating in over 30 states, with sales in excess of 300 million dollars, where he served as Manager of Systems and Software Development. Before that, he has held other positions that include, Software Developer, developing both financial and healthcare software systems, Systems Analyst, Project Manager and Consultant. Mr Lagala attended Old Westbury College, where he majored in Business Administration.

Mr. Lagala has primary responsibility for obtaining and installing cutting-edge technology for MRI appointment scheduling and billing software, voice activated transcription systems, rapid communication of clinical findings to referring physicians and powerful MRI image storage tools used by all MRI centers managed by Sonix.
