Ted has over 28 years of broad and diverse project management experience in the high tech industry, encompassing both national and international small, medium, and large business environments. Ted received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1972. Ted worked with Riley Stoker as a field service and construction engineer in the commercial power plant industry for two years, traveling to 38 states during that period of time and performing onsite construction management, verification of operational capability, and customer consultation. In 1973, Ted joined Rockwell International, a multi-billion dollar company, as a systems engineer and engineering manager developing complex telecommunications and computer systems for military customers. Ted went on to become a project manager and program manager over multi-million dollar telecommunications projects. During this time, Ted received an MS/MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas in Finance and Marketing. As Ted completed this advanced degree, he was selected as one of thirteen employees from 14,000 to participate in a General Management Development Program with Rockwell Defense Electronics that allowed Ted to gain experience in the functional departments of Finance, Operations, Personnel, Business Development, and International Marketing. Upon completion of this program, Ted became Associate Director for Product Operations and Director of Operations with the responsibility for manufacturing, facilities, procurement, and quality. Ted was Project Manager for the construction of over 1,000,000 square feet of mixed-use office and manufacturing space in Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Southern California.In 1985, Ted co-founded info-Pro, Inc., a PC network design, implementation, project management, and consulting firm. During the seven years that Ted owned Info-Pro, the firm developed an active client base in excess of 1,000 clients and over 70 system engineers on staff. Ted was instrumental in a friendly acquisition of Info-Pro by Software Spectrum in 1992. As part of Software Spectrum, Ted was Director of Quality, Fulfillment Services, Administration, and Facilities. During this tenure, Ted managed projects and grew their worldwide facilities presence from approximately 60,000 square feet to over 600,000 square feet.Ted has brought all of this experience to Mohr Partners International and delivers value-added service with a focus toward customer satisfaction. |
