Mr. Kamdar has over 30 years of broad international experience in the Information Technology, Networking and Data Storageindustries. He was formerly President of Maxtor Corporation, San Jose, CA where he played a key role in taking the company for annual revenues of $350 million to over $1 billion through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Mr. Kamdar has also held senior management positions at Micropolis, OSI (a Philips NV company) and Control Data Corporation. Mr. Kamdar started his career as a software development engineer with Control Data, a company that created and dominated the market for Super Computers at the time. At Control Data, Mr. Kamdar rose to the position of Vice President and held various management roles that included Engineering, Product Management, Business Development/Marketing/Sales, Manufacturing Operations, and M&A. Mr. Kamdar holds an MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, an MBA from Santa Clara University and a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. |
