Tarig Anani is president of P2 Energy Solutions with overall P&L responsibility. Previously, he served for 5 years as president, international and chief legal officer of P2 Energy Solutions. He is also a member of the board of both P2ES Holdings, Inc and the Petroleum Place, Inc. Prior to joining P2, Mr. Anani built up SAP’s practice in a 19-country region in the Middle East. Before his transition to the software world, Mr. Anani worked for several years as a corporate attorney with the law firm of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, concentrating on M&A work and representing the firm’s largest client, Pemex. Mr. Anani is the recipient of the Best Enterprise Resource Planning award from former U.S. vice president Al Gore and is listed in Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World. Mr. Anani is licensed to practice law in Texas, California, the District of Columbia and before the U.S. Supreme Court and earned a bachelor of arts and a doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Houston, a master of business administration from Rice University and an advanced law degree from Stanford University.
