Mr. Jimbo is President & CEO of ITX International Equity Corp., a Japanese corporate backed equity investment firm, focusing on IT field and medical device ventures. Over the past twenty years, Mr. Jimbo has held various positions in several trading and investment companies in both the US and in Japan. One example is his position as general manager of Nissho Iwai Corporation's (now known as Sojitz Corp.) San Francisco office, leading that Japanese trading company into its first Silicon Valley medical device venture. As a successful investor, he has also facilitated the creation of Asian markets for companies such as Rita Medical Systems and Fox Hollow Technologies. ITX, under his direction, has also invested in many venture companies throughout the US.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Sophia University of Tokyo, Japan. |
