Tae Hee has diverse experience in the medical field. She started her career as a clinical nurse at Chungnam National University Hospital, Daejeon, South Korea serving in the emergency room, neurology ward and nephrology ward. Later as a clinical coordinator she was awarded best employee prize in 2000 based on superior efforts to build relationships with clientele, which led directly to increased sales. In that role she conducted medical research and provided results of analyses to her customer base of nephrologists, nurses, and patients.
Tae Hee then moved into sales joining the Fresenius Medical Care Korea as a sales representative. She was recognized as the best sales representative for the first quarter in 2004. She consistently exceeded her annual sales goals by more than 20% from 2002 to 2004. She developed and managed accounts, which included six general hospitals and seven local clinics. She was appointed president of the cultural activities club leading a 15-person team tasked with raising awareness of diversity issues.
Tae Hee's negotiation and interpersonal skills are high and she was elected vice president of the Work Together Board Program, responsible for serving as an intermediary between trade unions and management. She also has legal experience she gained as a legal associate at Graham's Gift Children's Foundation. In that role she conducted extensive research and analyzed legal issues pertaining to adoption under the Chinese, Korean and US legal systems. In addition, she also assisted senior management in drafting a white paper that examined global differences in adoption laws.
Tae Hee earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1991 and Master of Science in Nursing in 2001 from Chungnam National University, South Korea; a Master of Law in 2005 from State University of New York at Buffalo; and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration, Concentration in Health Science Management and Marketing at the Simon Graduate School of Business Administration. She is a Merit Scholar Recipient and member of Toastmasters, Simon Health Sciences, Simon Consulting, and Simon Marketing Clubs. |
