Tadeusz Syryjczyk, a graduate of AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow in the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics (PhD in the IT field). He is the author of publications in the field of game theory and programming languages. From 1971-1980 he worked scientifically in the Institute for Automatics and Electronics of AGH in Krakow, and from 1981-1989 in the IT Institute of AGH. From 1987 to 1989 he worked in IT company ABAKS in Krakow. He is the co-founder of Krakow Industrial Society, and since 1989 he has been its President. From 1989-1990, as well as from 1991 - 2001 he worked in politics. From 1989 to 1990 he was the Industry Minister, and from December 1998 - June 2000 was the Minister of Transport and Naval Economy. In 1991 and from 2002-2003, Mr. Syryjczyk worked individually as consultant and counsellor. From 2003 to 2007 he worked as the Director in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London (as Polish representative in Board of Directors). He is also a member of the Polish Tourist Country-Lovers’ Society as well as Polish IT Society.
