Sylvia Gillis is a partner in and vice-chair of the construction law group of Bricker & Eckler LLP. Her practice emphasizes construction law and public bidding issues, including review, negotiation, and preparation of agreements with architects and construction managers and preparation of contractor agreements and other contract documents.

Represents both private and public sector clients on construction matters, beginning with initial document preparation and continuing throughout the construction project
Assists owners in the negotiation and preparation of agreements with architects and construction managers
Assists in the preparation of front-end construction documents for both private and public sector owners such as school districts, libraries and townships
Advises clients throughout construction process for compliance with Ohio statutory requirements
Provides assistance with mechanics' lien claims
