Sylvia C. Stanat, B.A. Treasurer. After receiving her Bachelors degree in biology from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Ms. Stanat was employed as a research scientist in the CNS Division at Parke-Davis Co. She later joined the Lineberger Cancer Center at the University of NC at Chapel Hill, and then Burroughs Wellcome Co. as a research scientist in the Virology Department. She has authored and co-authored over 30 scientific papers and is an expert in mammalian cell culture. Ms. Stanat serves as a valued scientific advisor to KPI as well as its treasurer. |
