Suzanne Petrusch offers two decades of experience in enrollment management. She consults for Noel-Levitz from her position as vice president for enrollment management at St. Mary’s University (TX), specializing in undergraduate and graduate student enrollment, campus marketing, and strengthening enrollment through new technologies.
At St. Mary’s, Ms. Petrusch oversees the Offices of Undergraduate Admission, Financial Assistance, and Evening Studies. Her efforts helped the university realize a 48 percent increase in applications and a 21 percent increase in first-year enrollment.
Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Petrusch served for 15 years at the University of Dayton (OH), including as assistant vice president of enrollment management. She worked on undergraduate and graduate student enrollment. From 1996-2003, Ms. Petrusch helped Dayton achieve a 53 percent gain in applicants, a nearly 20 percent gain in deposits, and a net revenue increase of 67 percent. Ms. Petrusch was responsible for all aspects of the enrollment marketing plan. She analyzed data to establish target markets, created communication flows and key recruitment messages, and developed media plans for print and electronic communications. She also established the marketing plan and online enrollment process for the university’s Adult Degree Advancement Program and Academic Enrichment Studies.
Associations and education: A frequent presenter, Ms. Petrusch has delivered sessions at American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), the College Board Forum, the AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education and the Noel-Levitz North American Enrollment Management Institute. She is a member of AACRAO, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the American Marketing Association, among other organizations. Ms. Petrusch holds an M.S. in education from the University of Dayton. |
