Suzanne Masson is Executive Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, and Secretary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
Ms. Masson joined the Caisse in January 2004 as Executive Vice-President, Institutional Affairs. In that capacity she oversaw the institution’s internal and external communications, marketing and networking activities. In June 2005, she also undertook management of corporate services when the Caisse added Secretariat and Legal Affairs to her responsibilities. Ms. Masson is a member of the Executive Committee.
Background
Ms. Masson has extensive experience in managing teams from various sectors, including communications, human resources and legal affairs.
She has worked in both the public and the private sector, holding such positions as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Services, at ING Canada and Assistant Deputy Minister, Professional Services, then ADM, Operations, at the Ministère des Communautés culturelles et de l’immigration. Before joining the Caisse, she was Executive Vice-President, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Secretary at Laurentian Bank.
