Ms. Hammett, 51, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Credit Risk Officer of Capital One Financial Corporation, a financial holding company, a position she assumed February 9, 2007. Prior to joining Capital One, Ms. Hammett was the Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer for the Radian Group Inc., a credit enhancement company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position she began in July 2005. She is also a former Executive Vice President of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. During her 26-year career with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., she held numerous positions within the investment bank including Head of Credit Risk Portfolio. She was Head of Credit Risk Policy for that firm until early 2004. Ms. Hammett became a Lydall Director in 2000. She serves as a member of the Audit Review and the Compensation Committees. |
