Suzanne Clifton is a native North Carolinian with 25 years of experience in the Human Resources/ Staffing industry and 20 years of diversified management experience. She is the President of The Castleton Group, a full service Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) company, with offices in Raleigh and Cincinnati, that is comprised of experts from every area of employer risk management including: Human Resources Administration, Regulatory Compliance Management, Benefit Packages, and Payroll Management.

Suzanne Clifton established her first company, a temporary staffing company, Executive Temporaries, Inc., in 1984 in Cary, North Carolina. After three short years, she opened another branch in Raleigh and four years later, a franchise office in Columbia, South Carolina. Most recently, Suzanne was honored as one of the Triangle’s top 25 businesswomen and presented with the Triangle Business Journal’s prestigious Women in Business Award for her exemplary leadership skills.

Suzanne obtained her Associates of Arts Degree from Chowan College in Murfreesboro, North Carolina where she currently serves on the Board of Visitors and was recognized as Alumni of the Year in 1993.

As an active member of her community, Suzanne participates in many civic and charitable organizations. She is a member of the Cary Chamber of Commerce, for which her company was named the Cary Small Business of the Year in 1993, and is a member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. She is a North Carolina State University Life Time Wolfpack Member. The firm actively supports the Special Olympics, The Food Bank of North Carolina, Cary Visual Arts, and United Way. Under Suzanne’s leadership, the Castleton Group established a charitable fund, The Castleton Fund of Triangle Community Foundation, to provide qualifying organizations in Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham, Buncombe, and Henderson counties with grants for organizational and professional development activities. With these awards, The Castleton Group seeks to enhance the organization's effectiveness in fulfilling their missions. All are located in communities the company serves. Suzanne prides herself on being a successful woman business owner who is active in organizations such as National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Suzanne resides in Cary, North Carolina with her husband, Larry.
