Ms. Sender, a registered nurse, has been in her current position since 2001 and is responsible for Gentiva's clinical practice standards and operations. She joined the healthcare division of Olsten Corporation Gentiva's predecessor organization -- in 1988 as director of professional services in one of that company's home healthcare branch offices. Ms. Sender later became quality assurance manager for the northeast region and later director for policy and an assistant vice president. Earlier in her career, she served a number of smaller homecare agencies and private individuals, and was a staff nurse for the North Shore-LIJ Health System. Ms. Sender earning a bachelor's degree in nursing from Adelphi University. |
