Susan Richardson is a seasoned financial executive who has served as Chief Financial Officer for a myriad of healthcare organizations including multi-facility medical centers, specialty hospitals, physician practice plans, and other healthcare institutions that required immediate and decisive financial leadership.
Susan has extensive hands-on experience dealing effectively with the broadest range of healthcare financial concerns, including construction and real estate management, pricing, revenue capture, physician practice plan reporting and bond issues. She has negotiated and implemented a wide variety of major contracts from the provision of services to managed care structures.
Susan wide-ranging experience includes financial modeling of healthcare businesses and advising clients on the selection and installation of computer systems to attain cost savings and increase operating efficiency.
In interim management situations, Susan has regularly advised and participated in operational matters and in the planning of general management issues covering all organizational disciplines and perspectives.
Susan has been an adjunct professor at the Medical College of Virginia, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Freedom Federal Credit Union in North Carolina. She is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional in Managed Care.
Susan received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University and MBA degrees in Management and Healthcare Administration from the University of Miami.
