Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron Susan was a senior project manager with Records Improvement Institute where she specialized in records planning and program development retention schedule development classification and taxonomy development and electronic records and document management planning and implementation. Previously she held management positions at Delphi Consulting Group Metcalf & Eddy a leading international environmental consulting firm Harvard Business School Massachusetts Institute of Technology New York State Office of Court Administration and the City of Providence Rhode Island. She has practiced extensively in both public and private markets.
Representative examples of Susan's engagement experience include:
Managed a corporate-wide records management program for a 3000 employee international environmental services firm. Developed and implemented document control systems and processes for use on large design engineering and construction projects.
Led the strategic records management planning initiative for a global pharmaceutical company. This project included the development of a comprehensive road map for the implementation of electronic records management over a two year period.
Provided assistance to a multi-billion dollar public works project for the establishment of a long-term records retention plan for project records and a strategy for project closeout and document turnover.
Developed and conducted records management training programs in the areas of records management policy and retention schedules classification and indexing and electronic records management implementation.
Provided support for the effort to establish a records management program for a multi-national financial services firm. The engagement included development of retention schedules for records in all media formats establishment of program infrastructure and electronic records management planning.
