Dr. Moore graduated from Swarthmore Collegewith a BA in Biology, then the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her masters in Public Health and her M.D. with highest honors. She completed her Internal
Medicine residency training at the University of California, San Francisco and her Hematology-Oncology training at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
During her tenure as a medical student and resident, Dr. Moore received more than a dozen honors and awards for outstanding achievement, service and dedication; including the Research Fellowship Award from the National Institute of Health and the International Fellowship Award one of only 15 awarded annually for projects in a foreign country. She is also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha
Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Moore’s clinical interests focus on breast cancer, lymphoma, supportive care and
cancer screenings. Health outcomes research, clinical trials, decision analysis, cost
utility analysis and health disparities are all among her special research interests.
Dr. Moore is excited to be back in the Triangle and working at Rex Cancer Center
with Rex Hematology Oncology Associates.
