AREA OF PRACTICE Family Law Susan McLerran is a graduate of The University of Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language. While in college, she was a member of the Lady Longhorn Volleyball Team and competed in the NCAA Division I National Championship in 1995. After college, Ms. McLerran worked for Dell, Inc. and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in Austin, Texas. Ms. McLerran attended the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, she worked as a student-attorney in the UH Legal Aid Clinic, handling several divorce cases, child custody modifications, and also serving as an amicus attorney. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. McLerran joined Looper Reed & McGraw's Family Law section. She concentrates her practice on divorce proceedings, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, marital property characterization, valuation and division, child support modifications, modification of custody and visitation rights, enforcement of court orders and adoptions.
