Stuart Solomon is president and chief operating officer for Public Service Company of Oklahoma, serving approximately 505,000 customers in Oklahoma. He has authority for distribution operations and a wide range of customer and regulatory relationships.
Previously, he was vice president - public policy and regulatory services for American Electric Power. In this position, he was responsible for the development, coordination and advocacy of corporate policies and positions. He was also responsible for the oversight of regulatory services for AEP's seven eastern states.
He also served as AEP’s state president in West Virginia. In this position, he had responsibility for public policy advocacy and interaction with external parties in the state, including regulators, government officials and customers. Solomon joined AEP in 1999 from Central and South West Corp., which merged with AEP in 2000.
Solomon, a native of Plainview, Texas, joined CSW in 1986 at its Central Power and Light subsidiary in Corpus Christi, Texas. After earning a law degree, he rejoined CSW in 1992 and held several management and administrative positions.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin and a law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. |
