Stuart Page joined IHS in 2005 as Vice President of Business Development, and is based in the firm's Houston office. He has global responsibility for acquisitions.
With more than 18 years experience in the upstream sector, Stuart has held a variety of senior management roles spanning from operations to investing, both domestic and internationally, in eight countries.
Prior to joining IHS, Stuart was a management consultant with Qittitut Consulting, a growth-strategy advisory focused on upstream service companies. His consulting experience ranges from small, privately owned businesses, to Fortune 500 companies with McKinsey & Company.
From 2000 to 2003, Stuart served as Chairman and CEO for Network International, a venture-backed energy technology company that won recognition under his leadership as one of the fastest growing companies in Houston during 2002. Stuart joined Network following his role with SCF Partners, a private-equity company that provides capital and strategic-growth assistance to build North American-based, but globally operated, energy service and equipment companies.
Stuart spent the first decade of his career with Baker Atlas, where he gained a wide range of experience in various cultures and countries, and served internationally in roles of increasing responsibility including country manager for Norway .
A native of the U.K, Stuart received both a bachelor's and a master's degree in engineering science from Oxford University, and was awarded his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School in 1998.
Stuart is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). |
