Stu, a Canton native, is a retired senior partner. His practice focuses in real estate, banking, and corporate law.
Stu received both his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Michigan. He was a four-year letterman for the University of Michigan and was a member of its 1948 National Championship Football team.
He is a member of both the Ohio State Bar Association and the Stark County Bar Association. He has served on various committees for the Greater Canton Chamber of Commerce and has been a member of the Advisory Committee of the Stark Development Board.
Stu was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, stepping down as Chairman in 1997. He still serves on the Board of Trustees for the Hall of Fame as well as on the joint committee of the Hall of Fame Festival. In addition, he serves on the board of the Ohio Auto Club. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Akron-Canton Regional Airport.
