Dr. Friedman is the director of the Wharton Leadership Program and directs the Wharton Life Interests Project, which both conducts a longitudinal study of the work and personal life interests of the Wharton community and is home to the Wharton Work/Life Roundtable, an academic-business partnership dedicated to creating change in the area of work/life integration. Mr. Friedman, selected by Working Mother magazine as one of the top 25 men who have made it easier for working parents to raise and nurture children, has consulted with a wide variety of public and private sector organizations and served individual clients as an executive coach. Mr. Friedman worked for five years as a clinical psychologist and health care manager before earning his Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan. His books and articles have focused on leadership development, work/life integration, work teams, and the dynamics of individual and organizational change. |
