Mr. Hamilton is a litigation attorney with a diverse practice, but he mainly focuses on product liability defense and defense of claims for personal injury and property damages resulting from accident or other casualty. His experience in the product liability field is national in scope and covers a wide spectrum of insured and self-insured manufacturers of automobiles and infrastructure components. Mr. Hamilton's experience in personal injury and property damage ranges from minor premises liability claims to major multi-vehicle accidents. In addition, he defends insurers in ERISA matters, attorneys and medical practitioners in professional negligence cases, and governmental entities in civil rights actions. Mr. Hamilton was admitted to practice in Montana in 1997, and Colorado in 2003. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for Montana and Colorado. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Montana School of Law in 1997, and his Bachelor of Science with honors from Montana State University in 1994 with a Major in Business Administration, Marketing Concentration. Mr. Hamilton is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, the Montana Bar Association, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association. He was editor of the Summer 2006 Newsletter for the ABA-TIPS Products, General Liability, and Consumer Law Committee. From 1999 to 2003, he was the President of the Silver Bow County Bar Association in Montana and continues to maintain multiple attorney and business connections in Montana. |
