Steve Town has served as a Director since October 2000, and been a member of the compensation committee since April 2001. Mr. Town served as CEO, Director and Chairman of Amerex Group North America, initiating the business start up in 1990. During his tenure, Amerex became the leading energy brokerage service in North America, serving leading banks, trading firms, producers, utilities and end users to assist their needs in both physical procurement of energy products and financial services. Amerex is a leading innovator in natural gas, electrical power, environmental products, data services, and in 2005, retail power consulting and agency services. Mr. Town was a founder of brokerage industry efforts that assisted FERC in their work toward energy trading reformation after 2001. In October 2006, Amerex North America was purchased by GFI. Mr. Town holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Oklahoma State University. |
