Mr. Shumake provides merger and acquisition advisory, private equity and subordinated debt placement and valuation services. Mr. Shumake has successfully completed corporate finance engagements for Fortune 500 firms, middle market companies and start-ups.
Mr. Shumake joined Frost Securities from Wellington Associates, Inc. where he was a Partner and Principal for fourteen years, offering investment banking and merchant banking services to companies in the healthcare, manufacturing, services, distribution and retail industries. In connection with his merchant banking activities, Mr. Shumake has been an active investor in healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, real estate and service companies. Prior to joining Wellington, Mr. Shumake was Vice President of Merrill Lynch Private Capital where he was responsible for corporate finance transactions in the Southwest. Earlier, Mr. Shumake was employed by Peat Marwick in their consulting department. Mr. Shumake received an M.B.A. and a B.S.B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
